Green Cleaning Tips and Recipes

I’m passionate about being chemical free and I wholeheartedly believe that reducing my exposure to toxic chemicals from household cleaning products has helped me on the road to optimal health.

Many common household cleaners contribute to indoor air pollution, are poisonous if ingested, and can be harmful if inhaled or touched. In fact, some cleaners are among the most toxic products found in the home!  Also, many household chemicals do not break down during waste water treatment and end up in our waterways threatening water quality for fish and other wildlife.

That’s why I decided to learn how to make my own household cleaners.  Being green is simple, good for your health and the environment, AND saves you money!  It’s simple, all you need are a few natural ingredients like vinegar, baking soda, essential oils, and a little elbow grease!
