Clean Living

It’s time to start thinking about where you can reduce exposure to toxins in your life.  I’m not just talking about chemicals in your household cleaning products.  I’m also referring to negative, toxic thought patterns, AND toxic things you may be putting on your skin.

We live in an increasingly stressful society filled with constant negative influences.  Over the years I have incorporated ways to get rid of negative thinking.  I realized that all those toxic thoughts were taking up space in my mind.  Taking steps toward replacing negative thought patterns has helped me to clear up space in my mind for bigger and better things to come in to my life.  I want to help you to do the same.   You owe it to yourself to start thinking positively.

Now, on to self-care products- sunscreens, lotions, skin care, hair care, etc.  It’s alarming the number of these products on the market that are loaded with harmful chemicals.   The skin is the largest organ in the body and it absorbs just about anything it comes in contact with.  It just makes sense to be very careful about the products you put on your skin.  Plus, the skin is a cleansing organ.  This means that when the other cleansing organs (liver, kidneys) are over taxed, the last place the body turns to get rid of toxins is the skin.  This definitely explained some of my mystery skin issues.  I decided to go all-natural with my self care products a few years ago and I’m so glad that I did.   My skin is much more clear these days.

Making your own household cleaning and self-care products is easy to do and fun.  Check out my blog for ideas.
